Winter Disco – Sorry SOLD OUT
We have been blown away by the response to the school winter discos, and are very sorry that there isn’t capacity for every child to attend the Disco this time. SOS are limited by the availability of the school hall, the health and safety considerations for the activity in the space and the availability of volunteers to support the a) organisation and b) the running of these events.
If your child has been lucky enough to secure a ticket, useful information can be found below. If for some reason your child is unable to attend, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact the school office, we have set up a waiting list on a first come first served basis to try and enable as many children as possible to attend.
We know you are disappointed, but we just are not able (especially in the run up to Christmas) to host more events, the Hall space is heavily used, especially with more after school clubs.
Thank you again for supporting SOS – we volunteer so that all children get the enhanced experiences in school, and their smiles make it worth it!
Children will not be able to attend if their names are not on the attendee list. Please do not swap your tickets, SOS are responsible for allergies of children and to ensure they are safely released at the end. If you are not able to use your ticket – please speak to the school office. There is a cap of 120 places at each event for Health and Safety reasons due to the nature of the activity and the size of the space!
The events can only run if there are sufficient volunteers This has been reached for the Y1-Y3 event on Monday 27th, but if you are able to support the Y4-Y6 event (Frid 1st Dec) we’d love to hear from you via our email address.
As the refreshments are included in the price your child will not need to bring any other money with them on the day.
Please state on the registration form any allergies that would prevent your child from eating any of the contents in the goodie bag.
All children who are attending will stay in their own classrooms until the disco starts at 3.30pm so there is no need to come and collect your child at the end of the normal day.
Please do not send a change of clothes.
WE WILL NOT BE ISSUING PAPER TICKETS, please check your JUNK/Spam folder for your payment receipt – this acts as your confirmation. If you are not sure, please email SOS with your child’s name, and the email address of the payment, and we can verify this for you.
The disco will finish promptly at 4.30pm and a responsible adult can pick them up from a dedicated class room – this information will be sent via ParentMail near to the event.
To ensure safety, children need to be aware of which responsible adult is planned to collect them. Once collected, neither the school nor SOS accepts any responsibility for that child.
