Christmas Design Project
Christmas is coming………. As part of this year’s fundraising efforts, SOS have organized an exciting Christmas Design Project for this Autumn term! Your child should have brought home with them a Christmas design sheet/order form to order a range of products using their very own artwork!
The Christmas designs can be professionally printed and purchased on a range of products including Cards, Tags, Wrapping Paper and Gift Mugs. So, whether you wish to add a personal touch to your Christmas cards this year or fancy a festive mug for the grandparents, every purchase will earn more money for the school including those all-important WOW days and the exciting new Amphitheatre project!!
All you need to do is get your child creating on a piece of A4 or A5 paper. Please read the artwork guidelines printed on your child’s order form… most art materials can be used, but coloured pencils, metallic pens/paper, white or silver attached to a white background and photographs are not recommended. Bold/ bright designs that fill the paper produce the best effect. Large areas of white background are less effective. Important details must not be placed within 5mm of the edge of the paper. Artwork must then be secured to the order form, ideally with ‘Pritt-Stick’ (many other brands of glue stick are available 😊) and the arrow on the form circled indicating the top of the work. Please keep designs flat, DO NOT FOLD, as marks will show on the final print.
Orders and payment must be made online BEFORE returning your artwork using the unique code located at the top of the pupil order form. Please refer to your order form for further instructions. When filling in your child’s class name on the order form please use the format: FSLT, Y1SB etc rather than just the teacher’s name.
All artwork, where orders have been placed, must be returned to your child’s class teacher by: Wednesday 13th October. Cards, Gift-wrap and Tags will be delivered and distributed at school by the beginning of December, with Mugs to follow shortly after.
